1. Before you install this free antivirus program, you will want to make sure that you do not have any other antivirus programs installed on your computer. If you currently have an expired antivirus program installed on your computer, please uninstall it through the Add/Remove Programs utility in the Control Panel.

2. Double-click on the AVGfree71 icon and click Next to begin the setup process.

3. Accept the license agreement

4. Choose Standard Installation and click Next

5. Enter your name and click Next (the License code will already be supplied).

6. Click Finish on Installation Summary

7. Click Ok

8. Click Next

9. Click on Run Update

10. Click on Internet

11. Click on Update

12. Repeat the update process until there are no more updates to download and finish the wizard

13. From the Basic Interface window, click on Control Center

14. Click on Complete Test to run a full antivirus scan
